Shortcode in default value field

    How can I use a shortcode in the ‘set default value’ of a text field (or any other field for that matter)?

    Oops, doesn’t look like this works, I can no longer select any input fields. I’ll wait to see what you say!

    I think I figured it out, seems like this works:

    add_filter(‘render_input_types’, ‘do_shortcode’);

    Is this the right way to do it?
