I created a notification (using this plugin) that after a user registers successfully with Ultimate Member, a notification will be sent to an email with the user’s login information. The received notification email contains the correct login id, username and email corresponding to the shortcodes, however, user first and last names are missing. Are those two shortcodes supported in this scenario?

    Thanks,
    Simon

    Shortcodes used:
    User Firstname: [user_firstname]
    User Lastname: [user_lastname]

Should mention that the notification email is to be sent to the admin only

    Hi @swmchau,
    Thanks for your message.

Just to confirm – are you using the ‘New User Registration – For Admin’ notification in BNFW?

I should mention that if I create a user using the standard WP admin user panel, the first and last names would be displayed properly using BNFW.
Only when register through Ultimate Member, the first and last names are not displayed using BNFW.

    Hi @swmchau,
In that case, it sounds like Ultimate Member is saving the user twice – once for the initial use creation and another time to save extra data, possibly relating to their account status and any custom fields on the registration form. Because of this, BNFW won’t be able to show the first and last name when a user is created with Ultimate Member because it hasn’t been saved to the database at the time the user has been created.
This is something Ultimate Member would have have to change within their plugin on order to fix.
    Hope that makes sense.

I am having the same problem. I’m not using Ultimate member or anything like that.
