Shortcode for match recap?

    You could use a plugin to get a post or its excerpt. We don’t have a shortcode in particular for this feature.

    Hi. Could we somehow add a tag or a category to a recap like we can any other post ? This might help us get over this hump

    Do you mena a category to the events? The competitions are categories so you could use them maybe?

    No, I mean if we could tag a match event with the tag “news” or “featured” or “ticker”.
    We have another plugin that matches these tags and sticks the corresponding post on our news ticker on our main page. This is what we are looking to do in order to avoid duplication of effort in reporting on a match (i.e. just use the sports-press match event post instead of writing a new post per match just to put it on the front page of our site).
