    Hello.
I can’t seem to find how to add the feature (in shortcode) to “add to cart url” so when people click my link the product goes to their cart.
    I tried adding something like:
    [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin=”XXXXX” desc=1 cart=1 ] or [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin=”XXXXX” desc=1 addtocart=1 ] (with no luck at all lol :P)

    I would appreciate any help.

  • Hi @tecmex,
The parameter for use in the shortcode is use_carturl.

So it would look like this:
    [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin="XXXXX" desc="1" use_carturl="1"]

You can also set this globally if you want all URLs to be the add to cart URL. That setting is in the Amazon Product > Plugin Settings menu under the Advanced Options tab. Check the Use Add To Cart URL? box and save.

    Warm regards,
    Don

Thanks a lot, Don. Question resolved.

Does ‘use_carturl’ also works with [amazon-elements] shortcode or there’s another one for elements?

    Hi @entusiasticamateur,
Yes, it also works for amazon-elements shortcode.

If you set it globally in the settings you don’t need to worry about adding it to the shortcodes, so keep that in mind as well!

    Regards,
    Don

you should update the shortcode usage page adding this additional parameter

We hope to have all of the parameters updated in the documentation for the next update.
    Regards,
    Don
