Support » Plugin: Pods - Custom Content Types and Fields » Shortcode filtering search Pods by custom field

I am using the shortcode with filter=1 and I get the search box but this is searching only on post title not in the custom fields.
I am missing something? Is there a way to use the search box to find also on custom fields?
    Thanks.

I’ve also not had luck with filtering on custom fields with default functionality, but can recommend https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-filter/ or https://facetwp.com for this purpose.

Yep I was testing “Search & Filter” and this is ok but this kind of plugins triggers the wordpress search and redirect to the search page results of the theme, but this is not what I am looking for.

As you can see on my screenshot, my pods template show the results as a table list.

Filtering with the select –Famiglie– (custom taxonomy) show the result on the same page always as a table list (template) and this is perfect.
Would be nice if the free search could find results on the custom fields “Nome Comune” and keep the table view of the pods template.

    Hi @xenio2000

At the moment Pods only supports taxonomy and relationship fields as filters.
Just passing true will merely enable the search field alone.
You need to pass a comma separated list of fields in order to show more filters.

    Cheers, Jory
