Support » Plugin: SpeakUp! Email Petitions » Shortcode dont works with WP 4.4 ?

  • Hi,

On got an important issue since i’ve updated my website to WP 4.4 :

Shortcodes to display petitions don’t work anymore.

For example, instead of to have my petition list displayed, i just got the shortcode displayed, but with changed quotes types : [emailpetition id= »2″] (in my editor it is [emailpetition id=”2″]).

I managed several websites with this plugin, same issue and petitions list with hundreds of signatories.

    How to fix that?

Do you have a quick hack? A functions to add?

I guess this issue is related to this changes into wp core :

I observed that puting the shortcodes as html paragraphe let it works:

    <p>[signaturelist id=”1″]</p>
    <p>[emailpetition id=”1″]</p>

It looks like there is a filter running on the_content that changes the quotes before shortcodes are processed. I’m using the plugin on 4.4.2 without problems.

Same problem here, and it’s not solved by adding <p></p>-tags.
