# Shortcode doesn't work

 * Hi, I’m a total novice with websites so this could be a very simple issue that
   I have. Once I’ve entered in all the details of my competition in contestfriend
   etc. and I go to add the shortcode into one of the pages on the website, after
   I paste and publish the code, only the code as written shows up. Can anyone tell
   me why the code and not the actual pop up box is showing up? I’ve tried entering
   the code in both the visual and text boxes on wordpress and it’s the same result.
