# Shortcode category not showing

 * The shortcode for category is not working.
    When I use [sp_news] it shows all
   newsitems okay. When I use [sp_news category=”2015″] , with 2015 being an existing
   category, the page shows nothing at all.

 * well, that was quick! I see you fixed it! Great, thanks!
    For everyone with the
   same problem, please use the latest version and on the category-page in the dashboard(?
   taxonomy=news-category&post_type=news), you will find an extra column called “
   News Category Shortcode”, with an id for every category. So for example in my
   case I added categories named: 2015, 2014, 2013 their respective id is 8, 9, 
   10. So notation for category 2015 would be [sp_news category=”8″].
