# shortcode and rewrites

 * Good Day All,
 * I’m trying to update my plugin (current-location) to allow shortcode within the
   post. So I’ve got this so far working. In a new post I can add `[current-location
   options="coords, static" /]` and it works great. Well I want it to write the 
   return data to the table instead of on the “fly”. Meaning if someone post a new
   entry and using the shortcode, I want the shortcode to write the outputs (ex:
   34.665268, -86.76947) instead of [current-location options=”coords, static” /]
   to the database.
 * Basic when a users location is update, I don’t want the old post to update with
   the new location.
 * Any ideas?
