    Hi,

i am at the Beginning with my Site and was searching for Recipes Plugin. This one looks good to me but i cannot find a Dokumentation. So first i have read something about Shortcodes can be used. How should it look like? I have tested some Ways but i get no result.

There is another issue i have. If you call https://waskochstdu.eu/recipes/ There is “Archives” shown as Title. Thats something i really dislike.

Also new Recipes are not shown in the New Articles Widget. Is there something i forgot to setup? I have no Idea why.

    Regards Chris

    Hello,

Normally you would not need shortcodes to use the plugin. The shortcodes are there for users who need additional features from the plugin.

When I look at the page you have linked I do not see any reference to “Archives” in the page title. I am only seeing a 404 page.

Recipes may not show up in the “New Articles Widget” as WordPress treats “recipes” separately from “posts”, so your widget may not be recognizing recipes as a post type. It totally depends on the widget.

The 404 was because i disabled it for testing something. Plugin is activated again. I just used the Standard New Posts Widget. If you try again and would open https://waskochstdu.eu/rezepte/ you see this https://gyazo.com/d2b75288d6a3766b1ac8fca2ef8181ae

Thats the Reason why i wanted to use a Shortcode to put in this way in a Page. A Workaround for my Problem. And some Text above the List would be great too.

The Difficulty Level is shown in the Taxonomy Line. Is that on purpose?

    Regards Chris 🙂

    OK, I see it now.

That “Archive” title on that page is coming from the Zakara theme from ThemeGrill that you are using. You can see it in the HTML markup here <h1 class="tg-page-header__title">Archive</h1>.

“Difficulty” is one of the taxonomies used to classify recipes in the plugin, so that placement seems correct.
