Short Story & Categories, options?

I noticed if I click a category link all the posts will be in “Short Story” mode – meaning visitors have to click the title of the post to view full.

So, in short (lol) I’d like to ask if there is anyway to turn that off? Leaving all posts in FULL whilst viewing the cat.
