Support » Fixing WordPress » Short Main Page in Firefox

  • I’m at my wit’s end. No matter what I do, I can’t get the main blog page to stretch the full length of the page. (See http://www.bountywriter.com/blog/). The text goes through the footer onto the background of the page in Firefox. In IE it looks fine but for some reason I can’t get it to work in Firefox, which is a deal-breaker.

    How can I get the body to stretch all the way down? Please help! I would be eternally grateful.

  • are you only showing the background image once ?

    or are you doing a repeat-y ?

    Try this:

    Move that <hr /> from outside the footer div to inside the footer div.

    Remove align=”center” from the footer div.

    Add this to your footer id in your css file: clear: both;

    Dear prissed,

    Thank you sooooo much. It worked!!

    Thank you, thank you.
