Hi,

Can you assign the Product Short Description to the g:description field in a feed?

All our descriptions are in the short description box and I have assigned that field in the feed but Google is saying they are all missing. For all products.

Do I need to move them to the normal description box?

Yes you can, all you need to do is change your field mapping to this:

Hmmm, I have tried that but the error persists. We have the Elite so I might message and ask you guys to take a look.

Does it need to be a minimum length or anything? They are not the longest descriptions.

The requirements seem to be this:

So 160-500 characters should be in it
