# Short code in Footer

 * Is it possible to somehow do this php code in the Theme Options Footer area or
   must the footer.php be edited, which does work of course, but to setup a child
   theme just for this seems a bit much.

 * You need to do this in **footer.php** and also use child themes for any customisation
   you will make. Read more about it here: [http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes](http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes)

 * For now, this is the only modification that you need but as the time goes on 
   you want / need to modify the theme to fit your needs. Child themes save you 
   headache for long-time. It is there so when an update is release for the theme.
   Your modification will not be erase.

 * I was hoping to avoid a child theme, but you are probably right, in time more
   and more changes will come.
