Short code for [post_content] excludes pictures

    [Post_content] worked perfectly and included both text and pictures. My web host recently upgraded WordPress to 4.9.1. Now only text comes through on my notifications. I haven’t edited the notification. Post Notification is up to date. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your message.

    How are you pictures being added to the post? Are these via a shortcode provided by a plugin or just embedded via the ‘Media’ button in the WYSIWYG editor as normal?

    I’m Sorry. This got caught in my spam filter and I just saw your response. I am adding pictures to the post via the “Media” button in the WYSIWIG editor just as I have been doing since I installed the plug-in. I have changed nothing in my methods. However, only the text comes through on the [post_content].

    Are you able to test with version 1.6.7 of the plugin from the bottom of this page to see if this fixes it for you? https://wordpress.org/plugins/bnfw/advanced/

    Jack, that seemed to do the trick. I don’t know why 1.6.9 was behaving the way it was, but 1.6.7 works fine. That’s the one I originally started with. I guess I’ll ignore the notice that there’s a newer version and I’ll stick with 1.6.7. Thanks for your help.
