# ShopManager cannot import user role

 * Hope you are doing well.
 * We are using your plugin to import users with an existing user role, we are changing
   from subscriber to pro.
 * When the administrator uploads the Excel file, it uploads correctly and user 
   roles are correctly assigned.
 * However, when the shop manager uploads the same Excel file, the role is not updated
   from subscriber to PRO.
 * Please let us know why this is happening and help us.

 * We have developed a code snippet for this requirement. Please copy the snippet
   from [here](https://gist.github.com/wtmujeebu/5bf0fda66510fb4a615af8df4009e3b8)
   and replace “customrole” in the snippet with your desired custom role name “pro”.

 * Thank you for your reply.
 * We have checked, and this code was actually already added earlier. And it was
   working correctly.
 * However now, we see that only administrators are able to update customer roles.
   
   Can you please assist and help.
