Shop Sidebar not working/showing

I’m developing a theme locally with WooCommerce based on _strap. All works fine except the shop sidebar that is not showing in frontend, neither in backend in the widget area.
I tried to register a custom sidebar, but some WooCommerce Widget (in particular, filters) are not working, printing a notice error, and by the way it doesn’t show in product category page.
How can I solve this?
