• Hi,

    Quick question please…

I’m able to configure the access I want for Admins as well as Current User, but not Store Manger.

Store Manager can’t seem to access any dashboard or menu items, despite their permissions. When Store Manager Roles login to /wp-admin page, they get Immediately forwarded to the the Live Store however, I have set all of the same permissions for Admin as Store Manager.

    Please help thanks!

Shop Manager is a custom role specific to WooCommerce, so I’m not sure I’m the one best qualified to answer questions about it.

Still, here are a few ideas:

    • WordPress always redirects logged-in users to the Dashboard; even when they don’t actually have permissions to see anything on the Dashboard. So if this role gets redirected somewhere else, one of your plugins or themes is doing that. The only way to change or disable that redirect will be through that plugin’s settings.
    • When you say Shop Manager can’t access any menu items, do you mean that:
    1. They can see the admin menu, but everything except a few items (which?) is hidden.
    2. They can see the admin menu, but they get an error when they click any item.
    3. They can’t see the admin menu at all (perhaps because they get redirected to the store?).
    • As a test, log in as a Shop Manager and try manually entering the URL of one of the menu items that they should be able to see in the address bar. For example, if you have enabled Settings -> General, try going to http://example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php. Does that work?
