Every since the update, I am having issues with shipping totals being sent to Paypal invalid. When a customer tries to place an order over 75 or 80 in value, the cart will not go to paypal express and return this error: 10427 – Shipping total is invalid. The cart works fine for smaller orders.

I have flat rate set up, all products listed as flat rate shipping zone.

Does not seem to be an input error on my side as smaller orders work fine, large do not. Have tested different products, and quantities, the only thing that triggers the error is an order nearing or over 100. Paypal says the shipping cost sent to them at that time is a negative quantity which causes the transaction to fail.

    Hi @nalaninoni,

What plugin are you using for PayPal Express as that is not something which is part of WooCommerce by default and it could be due to the plugin you have used to add PayPal Express to your site.

When cross testing for you using PayPal Standard in WooCommerce I couldn’t replicate what you describe and all shipping costs were passed correctly on two separate installs.

Have you cross tested with the PayPal Standard gateway which does comes packaged with WooCommerce to see if the same behaviour occurs.

If the behavior does persist it may also worth testing on your site by disabling all other plugins aside from WooCommerce and switching to a theme like Storefront to try and locate what software you have installed which is causing this behaviour?

Once you have disabled all other plugins and switched theme if the behaviour is resolved you can then enabled your theme and sites plugins testing after each one is enabled until the behaviour returns to locate the culprit.

I have PayPal for WooCommerce (By Angell EYE) installed and active and within those woo settings have Paypal express and paypal pro flow enabled. This is the system paypal told me to use, I spoke to a paypal developer who walked me through every set up and tested the whole system. The check out works, until a certain order value is breached. I have been round and round with paypal who said this was not their issue. That the ecommerce cart is sending bad into to them.

From Paypal: From what I can find it seems that your shopping cart is passing over an invalid amount for the shipping. Screen shot below.
Reach out to them to see what the issue could be.

I cannot add the ss of the log here

    Hi @nalaninoni,

As recommended earlier, can you try with the PayPal Standard that ships with WooCommerce to see if the behavior persists? You could also try the official PayPal Express extension that is available free of cost for your store. Once you have installed it then please perform a test order to check if the behavior persists.

It was the paypal app by ANgeleye. When I disconnected the paypal express option with that add on and changed to the Paypal express for wordpress on add, the issue stopped. Thank you for your patience. I will check these issues out first in the future.
