Whenever products are updated in Woocommerce; the shipping settings in the Google Merchant Center are deleted; which results in removal of my products in Google Shopping.

These shipping settings are manually added in the Google Merchant Center. I can not find these shipping settings in the Google Listings & Ads plugin or in Woocommerce.

Does anyone have an idea why these manually added shipping settings are removed from the Merchant Center?

  • Hi,

Thank you for creating a thread in the Google Listings & Ads forum, I understand this issue was previously reported in the WooCommerce Core forum, and the system status report is provided here.

...the shipping settings in the Google Merchant Center are deleted

To take a closer look, kindly provide a screenshot of the issue, you can provide a screenshot link in this forum using https://snipboard.io.

Please navigate under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (Check if there is any error message, if so, kindly provide the error received).

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello and thanks for the reply.

Yes a screenshot I cna’t give because the shipping settings get deleted in the merchant center from time to time.

The log is in the other thread indeed.

    Hi there @eajlbekkers

Thank you for reaching back about this. From what I gather, the site’s System Status Report (SSR) is provided here.

While inspecting it, I noticed that the current WC Database Prefix is exgq_, while currently the database contains a lot of tables with prefix wpvividstg01_, with table names, and contents, that overlap.

Feel free to use the WP Reset plugin to quickly reset the site’s database to the default installation values without modifying any files.

Let us know how that goes, and if the issue persists. The tables in your System Status Report (SSR) should only have exgq_ as a database table prefix.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know. We’re happy to help.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
