  • Hi,

    Just upgraded WC 4.0 .
    1st – It made site dead slow.

    1st How do we disable analyse report.

    2nd – Shipping and payment option appear after feeding full customer detail on checkout page. It doesn’t appear until it is completed. Am I missing anything ?

    Hi there,

    1. Are there any specific database queries that make the site slow? Have you imported the historical orders or is that still running in the background? Also – which version did you upgrade from?

    2. Shipping options can only be shown once WooCommerce knows where the customer is located – before that point, it doesn’t know which shipping zones to use. To help mitigate that, WooCommerce tries to guess the location using geolocation although that requires specific settings (more information at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/maxmind-geolocation-integration/). With this in mind, do you have MaxMind geolocation configured correctly and is the user logged-in when adding products to the cart.

    The problem mentioned in point 2 is referring to a bug in Woocommerce that doesn’t display the shipping method unless a full address is entered manually by the customer (including state and zip code).

    Geolocation only works for countries, which means that customers would not be able to see the shipping method unless they also select a state

    Essentially this update did away with shipping rates by countries.. I’ve discussed this here:
