    Hi Guys,

I think I might be missing something in the configuration but I cant find an option to do what I require.

Some zip codes for shipping incur higher costs. The paypal button is placed before the checkout (presumably so the user doesn’t have to enter the shipping/billing data if they can use the data from their account), and the issue is that when a user chooses to pay with paypal and their shipping costs are updated due to their zip code, they don’t then get an order summary before confirming. This means they end up paying higher shipping costs without being notified which is causing issues.

How is this situation meant to be handled? I don’t imagine we’re the only ones who have different costs for different shipping addresses – is there a way to insert a ‘Confirm Order’ screen after the shipping address has been entered or something?

Thanks for making a great plugin

    Rob

    Hi @robwhitaker1,

Thanks for contacting us. I see your point regarding the PayPal button being placed at the top of the checkout page and a customer not seeing the updated shipping costs.

I think a good solution for this scenario is to not automatically submit the checkout form when the PayPal button at the top of the checkout page is being used. That way the customer can review their order.

On product pages and the cart page, a second pop-up appears where the customer reviews their totals and makes updates to shipping.

    Kind Regards,
