Hello Hannah, we’ve begun a conversation in December regarding my issue of orders blocked due to some shipping seetings.

I have a free shipping over 75€ order. OK the right shipping method is applied.
Let’s imagine a client with a cart at 79,85€. It’s free shipping. To reproduce the case, the site is https://camposdeibiza.com/ and let’s select a perfume 100ml at 59€ + 3 set samples at 6,95€ (first menu : Perfumes). Total 79,85€
As it’s Christmas, he applies his coupon 10% off so let’s apply the code CHRISTMAS19. The new cart amount is 73,95€. Then proceed to checkout and select an adress in France or Spain (Europe in fact). the client is blocked with this message: There are no shipping options available. Please ensure that your address has been entered correctly, or contact us if you need any help.

I’ve added the elements you were asking for. Here is the conversation link :

    Hey @newki75,

If you have Free Shipping set at a $75 threshold and a customer uses a coupon that brings the total amount that they are actually going to pay below that, Free Shipping will not be offered. That is the expected behavior.

Based on the previous conversation you had with Hannah, she suggested that you add a 2nd shipping method to that Shipping Zone, so customers who pay less than $75 can still complete their checkout. Were you able to add another shipping method to that zone that would apply to those orders yet? If so, what shipping method did you use and how is it set up in that zone?

Tx for your answer. I already have a 2nd shipping method, a flat rate at 6.50 € but she doesn’t appear after the coupon. That’s why my client is stuck and can’t complete his order.
Here is the way it has been set up: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vglm8ajwoyf6ky1/Capture%20d%27%C3%A9cran%202020-01-31%2014.26.40.png?dl=0

    What’s wrong with it?
Tx a lot guys for your help!

    Hey @newki75,

That Flat Rate method looks good. I did some tests on the site without the coupon (as it doesn’t seem to exist anymore) and I noticed that when Free Shipping is available, the other methods are hidden. Are you using a snippet (like this example) to achieve this? Or a plugin? In either case, can you share more about what is doing that? Also, it would be helpful to share your System Status Report here as well.

    Thanks!

    Hey @shaunkuschel,

I didn’t set up the Woocommerce / other plugins and work only for a few months on this site which was a big mess… I see one plugin which is called “Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce”. I don’t know what it’s used for. When I click on it, I arrive in Woocommerce / Settings / Shipping / Conditions. And I have twice content : Correos Express (image 1.JPG), when I edit them I have the same thing (image 2.JPG). But I’m wondering if this plugin is used because in my shipping zones / methods, I also have the Correos express method as a flat rate… (image 3.JPG )
    Images are in : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0bvtgut7j9ydib4/AAAJIKJSWrycpNBN46NprGx1a?dl=0

To reproduce the case, you can go on the site and try to order : 1 eau de toilette 100ml at 59€ and 3 set samples (also in Perfume section): the cart total is 79,85 € so free shipping. The you can apply the Coupon LOVE2020, it gives u a total of 73,95 € and near Shipping it’s written: Enter your address to view shipping options. In the block Calculate shipping on the left, enter for instance France / Paris / 75012 and update. This message appears: No shipping options were found for 75012 PARIS, France. And when u proceed to check out, we have this: There are no shipping options available. Please ensure that your address has been entered correctly, or contact us if you need any help.
And the client is stucked here.

I can give yu some credentials if necessary.
Tx a lot for your help!

    Hey Marine,

Thanks for clarifying that and sending those screenshots.

I see one plugin which is called “Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce”. I don’t know what it’s used for.

It looks like that plugin is using the ‘Subtotal’ amount to conditionally hide shipping methods, while the Free Shipping method in core WooCommerce is looking at the ‘Total’ amount.

So, in this example, the Subtotal is 79,85€ before the coupon is added and the total amount is 73,95€. The Conditional Shipping for WooCommerce plugin is not showing your Correos option, because the Subtotal is not less than or equal to 75 (it is 79,85).

However, it looks like there is an option to include coupons in that calculation, so I would try checking that box and re-testing to see if that gives you the functionality you are looking for in this scenario:
