Shipping cost issue with component products in cart

When I have a cart filled with non-composite products, and I add a composite product to my cart, the cart’s shipping estimator gets taken over by the shipping cost of the composite product <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>only</span>. Meaning, any time I have a composite product in my cart, anything else I add to that cart, doesn’t change the shipping cost during checkout.

Now add several more qty of non-component items. Shipping prices should go up.

This may be conflicting with my Multi Carrier Shipping plugin (by PluginHive).

I have tried toggling “Shipping fee” between “Apply to each component product” and “apply to the whole composite” with no effect.
