Support » Plugin: PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce » Shipping cost display and VAT mention on invoice

    Hi,

I have three separate questions, please help if possible.

    1. I’m facing an issue where the shipping costs on the invoices are “Free shipping” even regardless of there being shipping costs and the customer having paid them as well. It creates a lot of confusion for the customers and would like to know if anyone knows what could cause this or how to fix this.

    2. On the packaging slips it displays the text “Flat rate” for the shipping costs (though in the site language, Dutch) and I was wondering if it is possible to show the price instead.

    3. My final question is about the VAT mention on the invoice at the total price mention. It currently displays “(Inclusief €… belasting)” which is a bit too long. I would like to know if it’s possible to change that text to “(Incl. €… BTW)”.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @sunrv,

I recommend creating 2 different threads for question 2 and 3, we try to keep things as 1 question for 1 thread. I’m going to focus on question 1 only. Question 1 could potentially help with question 2 however, so I’d definitely advise you create a new thread for question 3 at least.

    1. Could you give us an example so that we can see what you are talking about? Screenshots of both the order details back-end (WooCommerce > Order > then select the order), showing the shipping and also of the result on the invoice. 🙂
You could use imgbb.com to upload images. 🙂

    Hello @dpeyou,

Thank you for responding and apologies for the late reply on my part, I’ll create a separate thread for the third question. And thank you for recommending me the website 🙂

Here is the screenshot of the order (I’ve censored out some confidential details, I hope that’s not an issue)

Here’s a screenshot of the result invoice (I’ve censored some information here as well)

    Hi @sunrv,

My apologies for the late reply! Unfortunately, the screenshots are no longer available. Did you already solve this issue, or still need further help with it?

    Hi @yordansoares,

That’s okay, thanks for replying! I would still like some help with this issue. Here are the images renewed:

Thanks for providing those screenshots, @sunrv!

Could you please check if you have selected the Simple template, under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > General > Choose a template? If it’s a different template, please temporarily switch to Simple, and try opening the order #13465 again, to see what the total shipping read.

    Hi @yordansoares,

I’ve checked and the template was set to Simple, there are no other templates to choose from either in the dropdown.

Are there any other settings that could be the cause of this issue?

    Hi @sunrv,

I run several tests, to try to replicate this scenario, but I was not able to do it. If you haven’t found the root source of this behavior yet, we would like to take a closer look at your case, so that we can help you solve your issue. Please write us at support@wpovernight.com, so we can continue providing help.
