Shipping classes not showing for vendor

We have table rate shipping and this plug in. We’ve added the table rates and linked them to the shipping classes, also activated the vendor shipping etc.

When adding a product in WCMp in the vendor dashboard and clicking on the shipping tab, the shipping class dropdown has no choices – says ‘no shipping class’.

It should give choices of shipping classes to assign to that particular product (as it does when adding products from the site owner’s admin dashboard) including the free shipping option.

How do we get this to work?

Hi @susieh,
There is no such issue on our end. As per our current flow when you have created a new vendor at the same time shipping( that particular vendor ) class also created. Maybe you have added any code in your theme file that’s why your vendor not able to select their shipping. Or you may delete that shipping from the backend. Most importantly that vendor shipping is activated on the dropdown by default. So please create a new vendor and check again.

– I have tried to add a vendor but that is not working either – see video here.

Hi @susieh,
We didn’t find this issue on our end. Here is the video https://www.loom.com/share/6198022835c04d57936eca321137f9c8. Please deactivate all your plugin except woocommerce and wc marketplace and switch to a default theme like twenty seventeen and check again.

Hi there
we seem to have fixed the problem but now we have another issue.

We can set the shipping class for a variable product but the cost doesn’t work in the cart. It works for non-variable products
