I set up some delivery areas on my wooccommerce including some free shipping that I wanted to add in only certain products.
I’ve created 2 new classes ( Frete Grátis) -Free shipping and Regular -(Padrão) and on my product page was assigning them to where I want.
On my Delivery method, I’ve created a new area including the whole country, but inside the configuration, I’ve set no tax for status, the cost to zero, and on the cost for delivery class I only put zero for the free shipping and left empty regarding the regular and whenever there is no class entered on the product.
the problem is even with all this setup, whenever I add the product that is supposed to
be with free shipping, it shows the cost of the shipping method.
I also tried to add on my main area together with all the other shipping methods, but like this it was giving free shipping for everything.

http://prnt.sc/w5neni – general area of delivery
    http://prnt.sc/w5nf45 – shipping classes created
http://prnt.sc/w5njeu – product added to the free shipping class
http://prnt.sc/w5nrsd – product was supposed to be free shipping, but it’s charging

  • Hi @ibmignatyeva,

Setting up shipping can be tricky. Here’s what I would check first to find out what’s going on.

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping. Check the box here to enable shipping debug.

    debug

Now you’ll see which shipping zone is matched for the address at the top. It’s possible that another zone is being selected instead of the one that has free shipping in it.

If you still have trouble, please also send a screenshot of the shipping zones at WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.

    Thanks!

    Hi @three Sons;

    Thanks for your reply!

Yes, I did what you said and saw that free shipping is still being added for the whole cart even if I have 2 different products that 1 includes free shipping and the other do not include it.
I’ve changed the order on the area list and now they are calculating right the fixed prices when the zip code is inside the area I’ve Put.
But still having this problem when it comes to the fact that I have 2 or more different products that belong to the free shipping area and charged area.

    http://prnt.sc/w5x9zv – My 4 types of shipping
( local with 2 different fixed prices,
    the whole country- Brazil
and free shipping for SOME products only)

I wanted for example that on the cart it would show that a certain product is free shipping and the second one is according to the shipment type the client wants… and the cart would not use free shipping for the whole thing.

    thanks again!

I’ve managed to create a coupon applying for certain products on my store only. But the problem now is still that if i have 2 different products ( one that coupon applies and the other don’t) the cart considers the whole order as free shipping… cannot fix this…

I suggest that you consider https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-advanced-shipping-packages/ as this will allow you to divide the cart up into packages based on shipping classes, and then apply different shipping methods to each.

I hope that helps you to figure it out.
Feel free to get back to us if you have further questions.
