 * Hi there,
 * I my knowledge in one of the updates the vendors were given permission to set
   there own shipping class. I am struggling to find this, when I log in as a vendor
   I can not add any shipping according to where I want my products ship to and
   cost, and the site shipping comes up with” no shipping class” while I have already
   set up shipping classes.
 * Your help would be highly appreciate.

 * **[@silver2570](https://wordpress.org/support/users/silver2570/)**– Thanks a
   lot for reaching out. You are spot on with the permission option for vendors
   allowing them to set their own shipping class; the only limitation is that they
   can only create one class.
 * Let’s check out the mandatory steps to setup WCMp shipping:
 * 1. Enable Flat Rate/International Flat Rate shipping module provided by default
   WooCommerce.
    Path: **Wp-admin>> WooCommerce>> Settings>> Shipping**.
 * 2. Login as the vendor and follow the path: vendor dashboard>> Shop settings>
   > Shipping. You should 3 text input fields on the Shipping page:
 * a. Enter Shipping Amount for “Flat Rate”.
    b. Enter Shipping Amount for “International
   Flat Rate” c. Ship from
 * The first 2 fields represent the shipping cost for the vendor, which once submitted
   by the concerned vendor creates a Shipping class within WooCommerce. To avoid
   any confusion, the shipping class name= vendor’s username. Please check the backend
   panel( Wp-admin>>WooCommerce>> Settings>> Shipping>> Flat Rate; you should see
   the shipping class data under the heading** ” Shipping Class Costs”**.
 * The last fields don’t play any role from functionality point.
 * Let me know if you still face issues.
 * Regards,
    Sandeep

 * Hi Sandeep
 * Thank you for your patience, and my apology for the delay in reply.
 * I follow your instructions and what I found is that there is no shipping at the
   shop setting.
 * There is Shop setting
    – shop front – billing
 * so nothing that says shipping?
 * Thank you

 * I notice. the vendor can not choose a shipping class from the shipping classes
   set by admin.
 * Like when I add a product as a vendor and not an admin. I click on to shipping
   and the only option that will show me is ” No shipping class” but I have set
   up from the admin shipping classes.
    But if I add a product as an admin all the
   shipping classes options will be available to me to choose from.
 * Your help is highly appreciated.

 * @silver2570- The absence of Shipping sub-tab from the vendor dashboard sounds
   strange because, at this moment, we don’t have any admin option to enable/disable
   this. It is automatically added. still once check the WCMp>> Pages section and
   see if you have correct page allocated for the “Vendor Shipping” field.
 * By correct field, I didn’t mean that the page allocated should have a name “Vendor
   Shipping” but rather it means that the page has the correct shortcode{ [vendor_shipping_settings]}.
   Please make changes, if you don’t see this in your setup.
 * Coming to your next question, your findings are very correct. By default, WCMp
   restricts vendors to only see the shipping class named after their username while
   admin finds all the shipping classes when creating a product.
    In case of vendors,
   I don’t think it’s professionally correct to show them classes for other vendors.

 * Many thanks for the reply sandy.
 * 1 I will follow up your instructions this afternoon and reply with whatever changes
   happens.
 * 2 shipping classes use to show to vendors the shipping classes the admin adds.
   With the new update of vendors being able to set their own shipping classes I
   am thinking after this update the appearance of shipping classes
    has been over
   written by the new update, now that make sense.
 * I will follow your instructions above and let you know, if it remains the same
   then it means the update has over written the old version.
 * Once again many thanks for your wonderful and professional service.

 * Hello sandy
 * follow up:
 * When I go from WCMP to pages, click on vendor shipping the only options showing
   up is the list of all pages for you to choose the page you prefer for vendor
   shipping etc, there is no short-code on this page.
 * thank you

 * @silver2570- Thanks for heads-up. You are in the right direction. When you go
   to the pages section in the WCMp settings, you must select the page ” Vendor
   Shipping” from the page list dropdown.This is a page which is automatically created
   when you installed WC Marketplace. In setups where this page was deleted manually,
   the page needs to be re-created. You can name it anything you want but the selected
   page must carry the shortcode “vendor_shipping_settings”.
 * Check the attached screenshots for reference.

 * Hello Sandy
 * I had another look and here is the latest
 * The page as you pointed to from the pages which is ” Vendor Shipping” is there
   and it is set up just as in the examples you sent, “vendor_shipping_settings”
   but it does not show up on the vendor dashboard, when I log in as a vendor.
 * Where do you think it’s hiding.
 * Thanks again.
