 * Hello!
 * I am a bit of a newbie when it comes to website security issues, so bear with
   me. Until recently, I’ve been using Wordfence on all of my sites, but after a
   week of 10+ “Brute Force” attacks with no failed logins, I’ve become questionable.
 * I noticed that the developers of this plugin are quite responsive, and I’m hoping
   they can give a bit of guidance (no tech support needed). I do miss being able
   to see thorough statistics and information related to blocking. Am I just missing
   statistical data availability? I see it on the Dashboard, but not in relation
   to the actual plugin. For example, with Wordfence, you could go to Firewall and
   see a breakdown of “complex attacks”, “brute force”, “failed logins”, etc. This
   information is important to me, as the security issue my client encountered are
   quite probably related to someone he actually knows based on failed login information.
   Is there something like this for Shield that I’m just overlooking?
 * Other than that, I’m loving the plugin thus far.
 * Thank you in advance for any guidance or advice!

 * (The 10+ “Brute Force” attacks are daily, by the way. Failed to include this
   information. I did notice that Wordfence is literally blocking Google….)

 * Shield Security should be able to block those attacks for you under the ip manager
   module without issue. Have you tried that system?
 * As to statistics, this is coming. It’ll be part of a more thorough reporting
   module. We don’t have an eta on this, but it’s an important piece of Shield to
   come. This will on all likelihood be a Pro-only feature.
 * I hope that helps and thanks for taking the time to share your feedback!

 * Yes! I haven’t had any issues with actual website protection. Wordfence was where
   I ran into the brute force issues. I’m beginning to think they were false positives.
 * So far, I quite like Shield Security. I appreciate the fact that it isn’t constantly
   squawking at me to update things I have no intention of updating…. and that it
   doesn’t constantly email me about my own activity, lol (*cough*Wordfence*cough*).
   There’s a long-winded reason as to why I posed my question, but I’ll just say
   that I’m glad to hear that statistics are being considered as being included.
   Overall, I think it’s a “peace of mind” aspect, but they are also quite useful
   in situations such as mine in which one believes the attacker to be known.
 * Thank you for the response!

 * I’m glad you’re like Shield so far, and yep, part of the reason we built it is
   to not have the incessant sqawking… we’re all too busy for that. 🙂
 * Thanks again!
