    Hi,

I’m going to give Shield a go because my website with Wordfence keeps getting hacked. Not sure whether this is the fault of Wordfence but it would be nice to know if Shield prevents these occurrances (I take a lot of other security precautions as well as installing a security plugin). I have a few questions to check compatibility with my current setup.

Could you please tell me if Shield is compatible with WP-Spamshield?

I am running WPS Hide Login and Disable XML-RPC, however I presume I can delete these as this functionality is provided in Shield?

Is it fine to deactivate Wordfence (temporarily) or do I need to delete it?

Is there any particular caching plugin that is recommended to be installed alongside Shield (I was using the wordfence caching option plus browser caching in the .htaccess file).

    Many Thanks

Shield will remove the need for Hide login and Disable XMLRPC plugins.

As to compatibility with SpamShield, I see no reason why it shouldn’t work together. They’re both doing the same thing (if you enable our Firewall module).

As to caching, we use W3 Total cache, but most should work fine.
