Sharing product to FaceBook

Hello,
I’m quite new to WooCommerce.
I’ve created a test product at this page:
https://filipina.ro/product/hm-blouse/

If I try to share this page on FB Messenger, I get only the logo image of the website, not the featured image of the product.

Since this happens also if I share simple ads from WP, is there a setting to show the featured image?

You would want to install an SEO plugin to improve the way that products and other WordPress posts behave when shared.

A popular one is Yoast SEO: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

Hello Nicola,

Thanks for the advice.
Before writing this post, I’ve installed “All in one SEO”. It provides a solution but the “Social setting” tab doesn’t show up in the WooCommerce articles…

Do you think Yoast could help me?

@mauroghiglia AIOSEO dev here. You need to enable Open Graph markup for Products in the Social Meta menu. Then the Social Meta tab will show up. 🙂

Done things above with every product and selecting the right picture, but still when publishing to facebook it shows the site’s main picture, what i’m doing wrong?
Does this require pro-version to work?

@zakallin use https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ to check if isn’t being cached on Facebook’s end.

I got this warning : The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

It shows that url and title are correct but og image still wrong, so products settings don’t override it….why?
