We have a self hosted WordPress site at https://blog.csiro.au/ and have Jetpack installed and collecting stats. In the self-hosted WP site the Jetpack Stats dashboard page has a message and link “Did you know you can view enhanced stats on WordPress.com? Show Me” However, they are only available for the wordpress.com user associated with the Jetpack connection.

I can see no way of sharing the stats on wordpress.com with other wordpress.com users. There is no option to “invite” them as you can with wordpress.com hosted accounts – the Users link just takes you back to the self hosted dashboard.

Is there some other way to give other users access to the enhanced stats?

    Jetpack Mechanic 🚀

You can invite other users to access your stats on WordPress.com, but these users will need to be registered on your site as well.

    Try the following:

    1. Go to Users > Add New in your dashboard, and pick a role for the new user.
    2. Go to Jetpack > Settings, then click on “Configure” next to the Stats item.
    3. Make sure the role you’ve assigned to that user has access to stats.
    4. That user will then be able to log in and see the stats. If they want to see them on WordPress.com as well, they can do it by linking their account to a WordPress.com account in the Jetpack menu.

    I hope this helps.

Seems to work! As the person who originally connected to Jetpack I couldn’t see the linking option, but I’ve tested it with another user.

    Many thanks!
