Facbook Share button has disappeared now as well – my setting. According to my sharing settings each post should display a button for: facebook, twitter, pocket, gmail

If you still experience issues, could you please try clearing out your cache?

If that doesn’t help, could you try to load the page in a different browser, to make sure the problem is not linked to a specific browser add-on or extension.
If that doesn’t help either, could you check if you use an anti-virus software that may restrict your access to Social Media networks.

it’s a shame I can’t send you a screenshot. The problem persists. In all fairness not in Safari – which loads my page very slowly though.
I don’t use any anti-virus software.
I would also like to stress that until a few days ago – before I upgraded to the latest version of WP and JetPack, all worked fine. Pageload time was good and social media icons displayed correctly when hovering over ‘Share’.
Please try to resolve the issue.

it might help you to know, that the worst affected ‘Share’ icons not showing are Facebook and Gmail

Firefox and IE don’t display all icons. FB and Gmail wont show.

I gave it another try, on Firefox, IE11, Chrome, and Safari, and the buttons seem to be displayed everywhere on my end.
I would also like to stress that until a few days ago – before I upgraded to the latest version of WP and JetPack, all worked fine.
Since you’re using the Official sharing button style, the buttons are not hosted on your site. They’re added via an iFrame, and hosted on each Social Network. Updating Jetpack or WordPress won’t change anything inside the iFrame.
Something on your computer is most likely blocking or restricting access to Social Networks. It can be a browser add-on, an antivirus, or some issues with your Internet connection.
Could you try on another computer, and let me know how it goes?

Could you try to go to Settings > Sharing in your dashboard, and switch to a different button style?

Ok. Since these non-official buttons are hosted on your site, and not added via an iFrame, you won’t experience issues.
As I mentioned earlier, updating the plugin won’t fix your problem with official buttons though. You would experience the same issue on other sites, and on your own site if you were to use another plugin to add official sharing buttons.
I’d suggest that you investigate further and look at the different apps installed on your home computer to find the one that’s causing the problem.
You can also look at what things are installed on your work computer, although it could just be that your system administrators are blocking Social Networks there.

what a shame I’ve got to open this query again. As you could see the like/share counter yourself a few days ago – you sent me a screen shot – don’t you think its odd they are not visible again.
I am aware you gave advise to look into my browsers plug-ins. I still insist that the trouble here is one caused by the recent upgrades of WP and Jetpack.
Please look into the issue again.
