 * An adviser said “somewhere in the settings of your WordPress dashboard, there
   should be a “Sharing” section Be sure to turn on the ability for readers to share
   your posts on FB, Twitter, eamil, etc.” I can’t find anything like this. Can 
   you direct it to me in such simple terms even my dog would understand”

 * The difference is that the information your ‘adviser’ gave you was incorrect 
   for a .org install.
 * You need to install something like Jetpack to get that ability.
