• My client is hoping to add a secure login area that would let a client view their documents stored in an SharePoint environment. Seems pretty simple but I am not finding a plugin to make it happen. There is WordPress + Sharepoint Online by WPO365 but that appears to require clients to have an Office 365 account. Most of our clients will not have an O365 account and we do not want to require them too. In a perfect world we want a simple secure login, validation of user, user sees only their folder of documents stored on the clients internal Azure SQL Server. My client admins use a SharePoint Plan 2 secure document repository but the their client/customers will only have simple emails and should only be able to see only their documents. Any recommendation of plugins and path would be greatly appreciated.

  • I’d just migrate all their stuff into WP and have them use the WP portal from now for everything. Then create or use a plugin that gives each customer/client their own directory/repository.

There is a lot of data pages and SharePoint is their preferred storage. They are looking for a streamlined means of document delivery and having to drop one in SharePoint and a clone in WP would add too much labor and confusion of time sensitive material. I used a similar method you suggest and it worked ok for a very limited amount of non-time-sensitive data, but wont work in this case. Thanks for the response though!
