Sharebuttons theme settings not working after updating

    Hi and thanks for a great plugin.

    An issue has occurred after updating to the last version v7.6.0.8
    The previously set theme settings are overridden or not being read, as pages and posts now show the default Classic icons instead of the selected Flat Square.
    Tried to change the settings with no results.
    Also, the customised css does not work either as classes changed or something.
    (classes like .sharebox)
    Disabled all plugins to check for conflicts, but still does not work.
    It all worked fine until now, and had some custom CSS added to it that use to render fine.

    How can I get these settings back?
    Should I use an older version?

    Please advise.

    ooops..!
    This is a bit confusing…
    For some reason it all came back.
    I just tweaked style.css file and then all came back.

    I must call this a false alarm.

    My apologies.

    Well…here we go again.
    Settings are not saved.
    Default icons are shown instead of flat ones.
    Custom CSS settings also not read.

    What could be causing that..?
    Please advise..

    And what is even stranger…is that sometimes it shows default settings…sometimes it show the custom (by me) settings.
    That is the case for more than one websites I am using the plugin, with different themes.

    Anybody else has noticed something like this..?

    yes, I’ve noticed. I think they are doing some upgrades so I’ve left it for a while to see if it fixes.

    HAve you tried submitting a reindex of your site?

    Hi @vaschops,

    Thanks for your patience on this! It appears the issue has fixed itself. I just checked your site and the share buttons are on a customized setting. Can you please verify you are seeing this on your end?

    Hi..and thank u for your replies.

    The issue is still there from what I see.
    I just visited http://dtouched.info/ …and at the bottom there were the default icons.
    For http://www.oneproject.gr/ also the same.
    Sometimes I load the page and everything appears properly.
    And if I refresh the page…sometimes stays the same, sometimes not.

    As for stellamaris5 comment… I haven’t re-indexed the pages (I guess u mean from google’s webmaster tools).
    How would this affect the issue?

    I just took a look at your site, dtouched.info, and it is still on the current version of the plugin (7.6.0.5), so we can rule out that it is not from the update. Also, I have verified that your settings are customized using the “Flat” theme with Twitter, Facebook, G+, Pinterest, E-mail, and More Options button. Your settings appear to reflect what is on your page.

    Here’s 2 screenshots of what I’m seeing on my end:

    What browser are you using to view your site?

    Also, for the site http://www.oneproject.gr/, I have verified the customized settings you have is “Flat” theme, center aligned, with Twitter, Facebook, G+, Pinterest, E-mail, and More Options buttons. Which is being reflected on your site.

    I have verified these all look the same on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. I have refreshed the page using these browsers but cannot reproduce the issue with “defaults share buttons appearing sometimes.”

    OK…this must be a local PC issue.
    Somehow…something.

    Tried on 2 other machines…and it renders fine.
    On a mobile device too.

    I am not sure where to start. Maybe check some available optional updates for windows. Will report back if I resolve this.

    Yes. It was not working last night but today it is fine. I have not done anything
