Share Buttons missing on Books

    I’m trying to use the standard WordPress “Sharing” feature that comes with Jetpack, rather than the social media bar/badges that come with MyBookTable. However, even though I have “Books” selected in my settings and “Show Share” selected on the book editor page, the share buttons do not appear.

    Is MBT just not compatible with the Jetpack share feature?

    Hi @qcerotica, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

    The short answer is yes, MyBookTable book pages are currently simply not compatible with how Jetpack implements it’s share feature.

    However, adding support for this is something that would not be difficult for us to implement, and seems like something that could benefit a lot of users, so we’ll look into adding support for this in an upcoming update. Thanks for the suggestion.
