    Hi @ntripping,
the Facebook counter problem has been reported on github to the dev team. The fact that the Twitter counter is not working is new, and not a good news.
I’ll add it on github and make it a priority.

    Thanks for reporting.

Hey @nikeo, looking forward for the fix 🙂

Hueman Addons plugin v1.0.7 is now available.

@bdbrown, I’ve updated the plugin – Facebook counter now shows the correct number, Twitter counter still shows 0, though 🙁

Hi, I’ve just seen this comment about the Twitter counter in the theme’s options:

“Since Nov. 2015, Twitter disabled the share counts from its API. If you want to get the display count anyway, you can create an account for free (as of Feb. 2016) on [https://opensharecount.com/]. The Hueman Addons plugin is configured to use opensharecount.”

I’ve registered for OpenShareCount, but don’t see the number of tweets just yet, is there anything else I should do? There’s this information on their site:

“OpenShareCount with a custom Twitter button:
To use the OpenShareCount API, replace calls to Twitter’s old link with calls to OpenShareCount’s:

Check the source code of the twitter button you are using, and look for “http://cdn.api.twitter.com/1/urls/count.json?url=”
Replace this with “http://opensharecount.com/count.json?url=” and if you see anything looking like “&callback=?” at the end remove that part.
If you see any references to ‘jsonp’ in the code related to the Twitter count, change that to ‘json’.
Don’t forget to sign up first or it won’t work!
    That’s it!
IMPORTANT: if you leave the ‘jsonp’ or the ‘&callback=?’ parts in, we reserve the right to block requests for your domain until you make changes. Such requests can’t be cached and they slow things down for us and for your users.”

So shall I change anything myself and where?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello
I have exactly the same issue. I registered on Opensharecount but don’t see the number of tweets.
It’s not a big problem at all but if you have a solution, I’d be interested.
    Thanks a lot
