# 'Share' button

 * I dont know if anyone has asked this but would it possible to add a ‘share’ button
   like the Facebook one, to share a post within my site to other users?
    I dont
   mean to share with other social networks.

 * What I mean is would it be possible to share the post site wide or to specific
   members rather than to other social networks for which there are plenty of plugins.
   For example could I use @ or # in front of their name?

 * I think you can already do that with BuddyPress…
    [@username](https://wordpress.org/support/users/username/)
   will link to that user and notify them that they have been mentioned!

 * Unfortunately no, BuddyPress does not currently support this (at least to my 
   knowledge).
