Support » Plugin: Share This Image » Share an exact image (Infographic)

  • Hi please tell me how I can set the selector to only share one image on my site (its an infographic at the bottom of the page from the link provided.

    I would be very grateful if you could explain how to get the info of the image that i need to insert into the selector (im just a beginner here).

    I checked in your support documentation but info on how to set the selector for a specific image only is not included there.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    You can do this with specific css selectors.
    But in this case you must be familiar with css and html.

    One way is to set selector option inside plugin settings page to

    img[src="https://i2.wp.com/shoulderbladesback.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/True-Final-Design-Kraked-.png?w=1140&ssl=1"]

    This means that only image with specified src will be available for search.

    Second way – add specific class name to image and than add this class name for ‘selector’ option.

    Thanks so much! I really appreciate that.

    One more thing please; is there a way to share the whole image to the social media page and not just a cropped version?

    Thanks again.

    What you mean by ‘cropped version’? Its must share full image now.
