Support » Themes and Templates » Shape theme by Ian Stewart altering wp_nav_menu() output

  • Hi all,

I’m using the Shape theme based off the Ian Stewart tutorial on themeshaper.com, and I’m having a lot of trouble adjusting the output of the main menu created at the bottom of header.php by wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) ).

Specifically, I’m trying to remove the ul and div wrappers around the menu.

According to the wp_nav_menu() page, I can do this by adjusting the parameters, but whenever I edit them in the wp_nav_menu() array, they don’t affect the output. Even if I remove ‘theme_location’ => ‘primary’, it still outputs the same menu as before.

    Any advice?
