    Hey Otto,

    We are working on using SFC for our site. We love this plugin & all the work you do on it to make it great.

    We are quite interested in adding the Facebook Comments for WP plugin into our site. Our users like the simple & familiar look of this, as well as the auto-post to FB feature.

    Will this plugin play well with the SFC plugin, is there a way we need to hack it so that they can work together?

    Thanks!

    E

    It will definitely not work well together, however with the beta version of SFC you can simply add an fb:comments tag to your theme to make the Facebook Comments box show up on the site.

    Beta version of SFC is here.

    The comments tag you add would look something like this:

    <fb:comments href="<?php the_permalink()?>" num_posts="10" width="500"></fb:comments>

    Thanks Otto for being so awesome at answering our questions.

    We are going to check out the beta version of SFC. Without testing this yet, are there still a few bugs that need to be smoothed over in this beta version that we should know about or are we good to go?

    Also, I might have asked this before, but we really live some of the community features you can get with Facebook on WP sites like Facebook "Friends Connected to this site", "Last Visited" users, "Community" with grid of profile photos of members. Do you know if there are widgets or plugins available that we can use to bring these features in, while still using SFC?

    Thanks!

    Ethan

    SFC is primarily a base. It enables the whole site for Facebook functionality. So yeah, you can build pretty much whatever you want on top of it without too much trouble.

    Thanks, but do you happen to know if there is already existing widgets or plugins out there for features like "Friends Connected to this site", "Last Visited" users, "Community" with grid of profile photos of members, that we can add onto the SFC base?

    Thanks again, can't wait to shift over to SFC from another plugin thats outdated.
