Support » Plugins and Hacks » [STC plugin – Tweet button] "Tweet" added in front of every post in RSS feed
6 years, 7 months ago
When the new “Tweet” button is enabled at the top of posts via the STC plugin, a link (a href) is added on top of posts.
Unfortunately, that link then appears in RSS and Facebook feeds.
There must be a way to prevent feeds from picking this up.
Well, yes, it could be removed from feeds, I suppose. But then people reading your feed wouldn’t be able to tweet you easily.
BTW, the latest trunk version of the plugin (0.13) fixes that tweet link to work, even in feeds.
The problem is that in the atom feed, there is not link, just the text “Tweet” and the same problem in Facebook, where the post is preceded by “Tweet”.
I’ll check out the new version.
