# Severe Lag

 * I’m not quite sure how to troubleshoot this, but starting yesterday (Monday 8/
   14), my work computer has started lagging dramatically whenever I have a post
   open that I’m editing. The Task Manager shows the Disk resources are at 100% 
   usage. After closing this for a couple of minutes, all the lag goes away. I’m
   not sure if it’s an anti-virus thing or a Java thing or some other problem that’s
   presented itself. It was fine last week. It’s fine on other computers that run
   Windows 10 that I use. I’m stymied and I have no clue how to troubleshoot the
   situation.
 * We use Kaspersky antivirus, have since last week and even then, there were no
   virus definitions added over the weekend, so I’m not sure how it could be that.

 * It only happens when I’m in my WordPress backend and I’m editing a post. I’m 
   trying to figure out what about WordPress might be causing it. Whether it’s the
   in-browser saving that’s being done or the constant refreshes to the server that
   WordPress does. I’m trying to see if anyone else has had similar problems or 
   who might understand the architecture enough to explain which of these processes
   might be a source of the problem.

 * I’m sorry about your work computer but we don’t support those here. We _do_ support
   WordPress but that’s not the problem here.
 * Please seek help in a PC support forum instead.
