Several static pages and a blog section

    I have seven pages on my site but I’d like to add a blog section to this, with blog categories.

    I’d like the blog link to be in the same place as my nav. Is this possible?

    The blog would be divided into x other categories like this:

    Home | About | Courses | Contact | Blog
---------------------------------- Recipe of the week
---------------------------------- News
---------------------------------- Another Category

    How do you create a new blog section? Or can you only have one? Because I would like to have more than one blog section under one site. Is this possible?

    I keep finding soooo many people that want this same feature. Add a page, blog to that page. I kind of assumed that WP worked like that but then I added some pages and found that I couldn’t “blog” to them. All I could do was add info statically and edit that same info. Anyone with ideas?
