    Hello!

So we have different product categories on our website which incur different taxes. Say jewellery is at 20% and electronics is at 5%

I made two tax classes for this, setup electronics to use one class, jewellery to use another. Now when I add them to my cart, my taxes are calculated based on the first product of the cart. In my case 20%.

Am I understanding Woo Taxes incorrectly. Is Tax Classes not the right way to solve this?

    Thanks

    Hi,
I set up two different tax classes and on the cart I get this: http://d.wedj.at/UbS1aJ

Both tax classes are shown and their are summed to the product price excl. taxes.

Please try switching to the theme Storefront (https://wordpress.org/themes/storefront/) and see if you can reproduce the issue. if not, the issue is with the theme you are using. In this case you would need to contact the theme author, inform him about the issue and ask him to fix it.

I also suggest to disable all non Woo-related plugins and check the issue. If you can’t reproduce it, enable the plugins one by one and see which one is causing the issue.

Hello, My setting was incorrect. It had to be “Shipping tax class based on cart items”

    Fixed now.
