 * Hello,
 * I’d like to use Piwik (Matomo) to track AMP usage.
    But I don’t understand how
   the link structure work to make it work. [https://piwik.example.org/piwik.php?idsite=YOUR_SITE_ID&rec=1&action_name=TITLE&urlref=DOCUMENT_REFERRER&url=CANONICAL_URL&rand=RANDOM](https://piwik.example.org/piwik.php?idsite=YOUR_SITE_ID&rec=1&action_name=TITLE&urlref=DOCUMENT_REFERRER&url=CANONICAL_URL&rand=RANDOM)
 * idsite=YOUR_SITE_ID is [explained by Matomo](https://matomo.org/faq/general/faq_19212/)

   But _action\_name_ _urlref_ and _canonical\_URL_ (in this context) I don’t understand.
 * Can anybody help me out here?
 * Kind regards,
    Florian Schmitt

 * Hello [@florian99](https://wordpress.org/support/users/florian99/)
 * you have to write ID of the website and the remaining URL will be same.
 * from where to get website ID you can read this tutorial.

 * So you mean just change the YOUR_SITE_ID and leave the rest like it is?
 * I tried that, but when I go to an AMP page my visits doesn’t get tracked.

 * Hello [@florian99](https://wordpress.org/support/users/florian99/)
 * I have checked the source code and the analytics code is loading perfectly.
 * are you using GDPR cookies option of our plugin?

 * I’m not using the “GDPR Compliancy”-option but the “Notice Bar (Cookie Consent)”-
   option. I accepted this cookie consent bar but my visit still doesn’t show up
   in Matomo.

 * I think I resolved the issue, at least in part.
 * On a testing site without SSL it works by starting with
    **//**[http://www.example.com/piwik/piwik.php?&#8230](http://www.example.com/piwik/piwik.php?&#8230);
 * But on my main site, with SSL, it doesn’t work with
    **https://**example.com/
   piwik/piwik.php?… neither with example.com/piwik/piwik.php?…
 * This tutorial ([https://www.elftronix.com/guide-to-using-piwik-analytics-with-amp-on-wordpress/](https://www.elftronix.com/guide-to-using-piwik-analytics-with-amp-on-wordpress/))
   talks about starting with “https”
    I tried [https://www.example.com/piwik/piwik.php?&#8230](https://www.example.com/piwik/piwik.php?&#8230);
   not working either
 * what else could I try? Apart from ditching my SSL
