    Hello,
    I work for an E-cigarette company and we are not allowed to send flavored e-cigarette products to the state of Michigan. We can still send tobacco and menthol just not flavors like cherry or peach.
    I set up up the conditions to match “state equal to Michigan”
    I then added the product not allowed “contains product equal to cherry”
    When I went to test the new conditions it didn’t seem to do anything. Im not sure what I might being doing wrong.

    Hi,

    Note that the validation only happens when the ‘Complete order’ button is clicked.

    Thank you for the response. I bought the Advanced Messages plugin, but still seem to be having trouble.

    I can get the shipping validation rules to apply, but I was hoping that with the Advanced Messages I could give the consumer a heads up before they go through the whole checkout procedure that the order will not be able to be completed. Currently they would add the product, go to cart, enter billing and shipping info, enter credit card info, verify their age and then hit complete order. After that the order would then be denied due to the shipping conditions.

    Id like the notification to pop up once they enter their billing, or shipping info that way they don’t get frustrated by completing the other steps only to be denied.

    When I tested it the message never showed up when it was supposed to and once I went through the whole process the shipping validation kicked in and prohibited the purchase. To my knowledge Im setting it up correctly, if you want I can send you some screenshots to show you.
