Erm…..
This is just the fix for the double sliders yes?
My OP about the call to the remote webDAV environment not working – that’s not covered by this fix?
Paul
The fix includes the slider misalignment issue and the backslashes
About your upload to webdav, can you detail exactly how you are sending the backup to webdav? After generating the backup, did you click the upload backup to remote button, do you get any error in your XCloner Dashboard Debugger?

I think I will wait for the new release and then start over
But I am a complete newbie at all this. If I select a remote target in setup why do I have to perform a separate step to move the file? I don’t understand…
Regards
Paul
Ovidiu – just tested out latest dev version and everything aligns correctly now 🙂
Paul, XCloner will only transfer backups to remote storage when setup in scheduler mode as per my initial screenshot.
If you want to manually send a backup to the remote storage, you can do it at the last tab from the Generate Backup screen, the upload icon, or from the Manage Backup screen

Ah, OK.
I was trying to do it in baby steps and only schedule backups when I saw that a manual backup had succeeded

The backup I took a couple of days ago was listed in the Manage Backups screen so I selected it and chose the download to webDAV option.
I received an error message “Method Not Allowed”
The log file is at: https://btcloud.bt.com/web/app/share/invite/IWU16T5iQD
I do not see any errors there related to XCloner, and if the connection verifies ok, then the issue could come from your webdav server, you should check it’s error log if available. As a test, try creating a smaller backup 1-2MB and see if that uploads ok

Thank you for your reply, and for taking the time to provide link to the Synology forum.
webDAV logging was not enabled on my NAS so I enabled it and tried a new download. I got the same error in XCloner “Method Not Allowed”
I checked the NAS webDAV log file and it was empty. I assume therefore that no connection was received.
I went back to XCloner and verified the settings. I got an error “Webdav connection error: Could not write data”
So there IS something wrong with the connection settings.
I have tried various tweaks to the values but without success.
Does the format of these settings look right to you please? Maybe I am making a rookie mistake on this page?

Those settings shown seem fine, if you like, try the yandex webdav https://yandex.com/support/disk/webdav.html , they provide 10GB of free disk space and see if you have anymore issues with webdav. I think the issue is still from your target webdav server, so you might to look further there or use another option

OK so the problem is definitely on the NAS side because I just copied the backups to Yandex flawlessly
Let’s consider this closed and I will go figure it out with Synology
