# Settings Unavailable

 * Hi,
 * When I click on the cog wheel next to gallery or album it opens the settings 
   page but everything is frozen and I can’t customize it. Sliders, Teams and Logos
   work fine. I’m on wordpress 5.8 and the Grid Kit version is 1.8.49

 * Have you upgraded your PHP version or something like that? Recently we’ve received
   a feedback, that PHP v8.x.x. upgrade caused this. So, try to switch back to PHP
   v7.x.x and check how this affects on your end.
 * If that’s the issue, please keep that php version while we’re investigating the
   cause in that context.
